A Must Have Book

I got a phone call from a childhood friend last night, we spent hours on the phone. We were talking about our children, the weather, people we knew and then of course my favorite subject: alternative medicine. Why is this one of my favorite subjects? Well let's see, after being diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and osteoarthritis 7 years ago and struggling with IBS most of my life, you try and find alternatives to help your aliments.

One of the best books out there on alternative medicine is "Alternative Medicine: The Definitive Guide" 2nd Edition which is edited by Larry Trivieri, Jr. & John W. Anderson. This book covers everything from addictions to worms. It is a pretty big book, over 1200 pages. In this guide I have found answers to so many of my health questions. After each section there is a "where to find help" listing and also "recommended readings".

I highly recommend this book for everyone. This is a great reference to have on your shelves. But you don't have to take my word for it, here is what Deepak Chopra, M.D. said "If you are interested in the alternative medicine of any kind, and want the security of authenticity in this field, you'd better get Alternative Medicine: The Definitive Guide."
